Vineyard Solutions

BeVine is a cloud-based decision support system based on data from meteorological stations in the vineyards

DISEASE MODELS

The disease models in our wine industry software provide proven accurate predictions of the development of key diseases that have important economic value in viticulture, including common and powdery mildew, black rot and grey rot.

By identifying risk conditions, the software enables agronomists to take timely and accurate action to protect their vineyards.

This functionality is based on current and future weather conditions, but also takes into account the treatments carried out in the vineyards themselves. Historical data from past years on the development of diseases in a particular plot and the specifics of cultivars grown in that plot also contribute to more accurate model performance.

This functionality of our software supports agronomists in planning and taking preventive measures by providing advance information on potential disease risks.

In this way, treatments are optimized, unnecessary use of plant protection products is reduced, leading to a more sustainable and environmentally friendly agriculture. Integrating our software into the daily work of agronomists facilitates the decision-making process by offering hope and up-to-date information, easily and quickly accessible across all devices.

PHENOLOGICAL MODEL

The phenological model we have developed offers an in-depth look at the phenological development of each grape variety individually, providing valuable information about each of the key stages in its growth. This functionality is essential for improving planned agrotechnological interventions and vine yields.

The model is designed to be accurate for individual grape varieties according to the location where the vineyard plot is located. Thus, the software for the same variety at different latitudes will reflect the differences and take into account the climatic characteristics of the region.

The phenological model becomes more accurate with each passing year because it takes into account the corrections or confirmations of the results that users make.

The use of the phenology model improves the daily work of growers by providing them with continuous and up-to-date information accessible through our convenient and intuitive app. In this way, they are even more prepared to react quickly and appropriately to challenges that may be encountered in the course of the work.

LIST OF ALLOWED PESTICIDES TO BE USED

Our cooperation with preparati.info allows our users to see only plant protection products allowed by the Bulgarian Food Safety Agency (BFSA) in our app. Every year this list is updated and includes the necessary information on active substance, pest, minimum dose, quarantine period and phenophase in which the preparation can be used.

The list of preparations and our digital diary are interlinked, allowing a specific product to be selected from a drop-down menu when selecting a ‘spray’ operation in the vineyards. This provides speed and security to the agronomist’s work, ensuring that the products used are approved and safe.

Our solution provides the convenience and security of working with up-to-date and verified information, which facilitates the process of plant protection and increases agronomists’ work efficiency. By trusting our innovation, ensure the health and quality of your vines.

NOTIFICATIONS AND ALARMS

Through our custom notifications and alarms, agronomists are able to receive timely warnings of high risk of certain events. Alarms and notifications are tailored to the specific needs and conditions of each vineyard plot, greatly increasing the effectiveness of the measures taken.

Different values can be set for different plots to trigger an alarm for the same event – e.g. occurrence of disease, low or high soil or air temperature, high wind speed and rainfall. This flexible solution allows to react accurately and timely to the specific needs of each individual vineyard plot.

By taking timely action once notified, agronomists can minimize risks, improve yields and ensure higher quality of their produce. Our service provides the tools an agronomist needs to manage vineyards with even greater confidence and precision.

DIGITAL JOURNAL

Our application keeps a record of all operations currently performed in the vineyard or winery, including historical data. This allows users to have full control and visibility over the activities in the winery and vineyards, thus improving the management and analysis of processes.

With our solution we support optimal planning and resource management, saving unnecessary costs and improving profits. Our service helps to achieve higher efficiency and profitability while ensuring high quality production.

ANALYSIS OF GRAPES AND WINES

In our application, analytical data of the grapes are recorded throughout the ripening period until the grape harvest itself, including sugars, acids and pH. After harvest, oenologists have the possibility to record in our system the analyses carried out on must, pulp and wine.

All this data is saved for each harvest, allowing comparisons to be made for past years or to plan the next harvest so that the final product, the wine, has similar characteristics each year.

Our application provides the tools to maintain and improve wine quality by detailed tracking and analysis of all important parameters.

how it works

collect environmental data

Weather conditions data such as air temperature, air humidity, leaf wetness, rain amount, wind speed, wind direction, soil temperature and soil moisture are taken from in-field meteorological station

perform analysis

Smart data analysis is performed using the weather data to help users make informed decisions with accurate prediction of disease infection risk. Analysis of the data also leads to resource optimizations such as scouting, spraying, and watering costs.
